Get to know Brittnae Maris {FBC Awana Commander}
Awana was a big part of my childhood and where I learned about His Word and grew in my faith. When I heard that FBC had Awana, I was so excited and wanted to volunteer right away. I serve in Awana at FBC because I love seeing kids growing in Christ and it is a great joy to see and talk with kids and parents about what they are learning. It is truly a blessing to see all the Awana volunteers that we have at FBC and their passion for the kids and hearts for serving Christ.
Here are a couple fun facts about me:
- I am on the Rib Lake EMS department.
- I enjoy getting to help out at the family farm- especially during harvest time when I get the opportunity to help drive the combine. Calving season is my favorite time of year because the little baby calves are just so adorable.
- I love to bake, make jelly, and homemade soap.
