SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES | 8:30 AM & 10:45 AM

Online Adult Bible Study

Virtually join Pastor Tim live online Tuesdays at 6:30 PM starting March 31 to study the book of Colossians. Registration is required to join the class. You will need an internet connected device (computer, tablet, or phone) to participate in this study. Instructions will be emailed to all who register.

The book of Colossians is a New Testament letter was written by Paul to a church in Colossae, located in modern day Turkey. Some key parts of this letter are the following

  • To encourage Christians to keep walking with Christ (“May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy” Col 1:11)
  • To inspire our worship of a high view of Christ (“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation” Col 1:15)
  • To warn the church against false teaching (“See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit …” Col 2:8)
  • To instruct Christians in daily living (“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth” Col 3:2).

This book is God’s help for us in the church in America today just as it was for the church in Colossae in the first century.

We had planned to begin this study in Adult Sunday School. Now that we aren’t meeting together in the church building, we will change this class to an Online Bible Study. If we return to meeting in the church building before the end of the study, we will move the class back to an adult Sunday school class meeting on Sunday mornings.
