Moms & Munchkins is open to women in all seasons of motherhood, from newborn to adult. We meet monthly to serve, encourage, and equip one another by pointing each other to Christ. Meetings together include time to connect with other moms while any children you bring along enjoy value-based activities with certified and trusted volunteers. M&Ms provides free childcare for children from birth to age 5, in addition to a designated and supervised space for older, home-schooled children (5yrs – 8th grade).
We meet from 9:00 – 11:00 AM the first Thursday of the month during the school year (dates below). We would love for you to join us if you are able! All moms need encouragement and to know they’re not alone. It’s perfectly acceptable to join mid-year or to only come when you can. Regardless, moms with children of all ages are always welcome!
This year’s theme is Sacred Parenting, based on the book by Gary Thomas. Through this book we’ll look at how parenting is a school for spiritual formation―and our children are our teachers. The journey of caring for, rearing, training, and loving our children will profoundly alter us forever. This is not a “how-to” book that teaches you ways to discipline your kids or help them achieve their full potential. Instead of discussing how parents can change their kids, Sacred Parenting turns the tables and demonstrates how God uses our kids to change us. Each month we’ll look at a chapter of the book as well as God’s Word to see how He is working in and through us as we seek to love the children he has entrusted into our care, for His glory and our good. Our mornings will be filled with teaching, Bible study, discussion, and prayer.
