We continue to walk through this season of change in terms of staff, so here is the latest update.
The Myers Farewell is this coming Sunday, Aug 22 at 10:45 AM. Just a reminder that there will be only one church service beginning at 9:30 AM this Sunday. We will have a card box for those wanting to share through a card with George and Melissa. There will also be a sharing time during the farewell for individuals to share a brief word or story.
We are happy to announce the addition of Larry Diepenbrock to our staff serving as our new Office Manager. We are excited about what Larry will be bringing to our staff team. Larry will begin in September.
Another change is that, Michele Kuhn, after a season of change over the summer, has decided to step away from her role as Women’s Counselor through FBC. We have appreciated the ministry God has provided through Michele these past three years, and we pray for the next chapter for Michele and her family.
In terms of our search for a new lead pastor, the search team continues to pursue candidates and has just opened up a new round of posting. We continue, to encourage prayer and a patient perseverance for our church body as we wait for God’s leading and timing. We know He is sovereign in all these things, and His timing is perfect.
