Spaghetti Dinner and Puppet Show
We had a wonderful evening of outreach, serving approx 300 people a
delicious spaghetti dinner and enjoying another great show from Hairy
and Company. The kids came with their "Wild Hats and Hair" just
for Hairy! Thanks to everyone who made this special night a huge
success.
Awana Bible Quizzing Results
The Awana Quiz Bowl for T&T clubbers was held on February 23rd in
Wausau. First Baptist Church entered three teams: Book 1, Corey
Resech; Book 2, Rebekah Heil, Abigail Heil, and Ty Wrage, Book 4,
Maddison Kuhn and Tate Wrage. As a solo quizzer, Corey overcame
the odds and earned 2nd place! Our Book 2 team tied for first
place with a tough Immanuel Baptist team. Ty Wrage earned special
honors by "quizzing-out" during the 8-question Speed Round - buzzing in
and answering 3 questions correctly, the only clubber to do so at this
years quizzing. Maddison and Tate did a great job too - taking
2nd place. Every clubber that competed truly won - they worked
hard, spending extra time studying their quizzing material for about 6
weeks. They've committed God's Word to memory - writing it on
their hearts for eternity. Quizzing has a high degree of
difficulty...every scripture passage must be memorized word perfectly
in order to count! The teams were coached by Sandy Resech and
Darla Wrage. Michele Kuhn served as a scorer for the competition.
Awana Fair Scheduled for March 12th
This year's Awana Fair is scheduled for March 12th during our regular
club time. This night will also feature our Beach Theme....so dig
out those sunglasses, beach towels and flip-flops and come join the
fun!! We still need LOTS of volunteers to help make the evening a

Pennies for Bibles Contest
Once again, we'll be doing our Pennies for Bibles Contest.
Clubbers are encouraged to bring pennies with them to club on March 5,
12, and 19 to donate to a global Bible outreach ministry. The
color team that brings the most pennies (BY WEIGHT!) will earn a
special prize. Start gathering those pennies! If you would
like to contribute, please talk to any Awana clubber.
Cancellation of the Awana Adventures
Sadly, due to low participation and interest, we've eliminated the
Awana Adventure incentive program for clubbers. Thank you to
everyone who led an adventure or expressed a willingness to do
so. Clubbers will be given a refund for their Awana Bucks.
