Welcome to the Cutting Edge Youth Center!
Here’s what
we’re all about at the Cutting Edge Youth Center (CEYC): God’s
love drives us
toLOVE 7-12th graders, INVITE them into a personal
relationship with Jesus, CONNECT them with His Church and each other,
EQUIP them to treasure God and love and serve
others, help them DISCOVER God’s purpose for their lives, and CHALLENGE
them
to continue their journey of becoming more like Christ.
And here are some of the
ways we carry out that mission:
First, whenever the CEYC is
open, it is staffed by caring adult
volunteers who are on the journey of followingcafe Jesus and who
desire for your children to have the life only God can give them
through Jesus. These incredible volunteer ministers are passionate
about
your children, and their love and appropriate supervision help foster a
safe and loving environment at the CEYC.
Second, we have weekly youth group for Jr. High
(7-8th grades) and Sr. High (9-12th grades) on
Wednesday nights where students have the opportunity to learn more
about God and study His word in
a fun, challenging, and interactive way. These youth group times are
specifically targeted to address the
unique challenges, temptations and experiences students face at this
incredible, stressful, chaotic, exciting
time in their lives!
Third, we have weekly open times when the CEYC is
open for students to come hang out and have a
great time as they build relationships with our fantastic volunteers
and one another.
Fourth, we host special events at the CEYC such as
concerts, 5th Quarters (Sr. High only hang-out time after home football
games),
movie nights, and others that provide opportunities for students to
come to the CEYC and hear and experience the incredible love God
has for them, build relationships and have some good, clean fun!
